Watching the sun give off it’s final whoo-raw for the day. Getting to spend the entire day with my best friend. How could it get any better?
As the sun was just starting to set, it lit up the other side of valley. Particularly this waterfall coming off the mountain…

The temperatures are rising, so we took a quick drive to take a cool plunge for a few minutes today…

On our recent trip to Glacier National Park we actually saw a moose! Having lived in this area all my life, it is actually the first moose I have seen in the park…
Of course we spotted her on a busy corner that had no pull-offs so we were only able to shoot a couple of pictures. But it was really exciting, especially because the kids spotted her first!
Then later in the day we spotted two more moose way off on a hillside!
And then from the same spot we spied two bears on another slope!
It was so much fun watching these two chase after one another.
It was also very neat to be able to keep tabs on the moose from the same vantage point!
While working sheep this weekend, we were caught out in the rain several times. When we finally decided to stop for the evening and go get cleaned up and head to town for something to eat we spotted this beautiful double rainbow…

This guy decided to pay us a visit while we were taking in the sights at Glacier National Park the other day…

While fixing fence the other day, I could hear this little guy before I actually spotted him sitting on this little branch….
We worked sheep this weekend…oiy! It’s a good thing this guy really loves me. He ended up trimming over 400 sheep feet, horns rammed into his shin, stabbed by needles…several times. Then we had to do give supplemental BoSe and Thiamine to the lambs. He even sheared poor Reykur, who missed the spring shearing and was in bad need of a trim. Love this guy I tell ya!!

But! Once it was all over with…
They were moved across the road to fresh pasture! Oh my…
Happy sheep!
The closest to a smile this tired shepherds came to all week!
There is just something about sheep, on new pasture, hungrily munching away that makes me feel all warm inside!

Over the past couple of days we have received over 2 inches of rain. It has helped to perk up the pastures and when the sun comes back out it should be producing at top notch!
It’s kind of nice to see a colorful sunset after a long dreary day…
