What a great photo of the chicken with her head inside the pumpkin’s mouth!!! Love it. We always feed our pumpkins to our hens, too, and they really love them. Very healthy for them, as well. I’m also loving your family pictures. Beautiful! Don’t you just love large families? I have six.
Anyway, thanks for posting this. I hope you can pop by my blog sometime to say hi…
Our chickens, ducks and sheep just love pumpkins, squash, zucchini, etc. The pumpkins make the egg yolks an extra rich orange color. I’ve been eyeballing the neighbors pumpkins too. 😉
Hi! I just found your blog through… a blog hop that I’ve since forgotten the name of. :p It was the one your blog was featured on with the gorgeous photo of the ram and the chickens. Anyway, I’m so glad I found your lovely blog! It is so pretty. Large family farm blogs are my all time favorite. 😉 I also saw MOMYS mentioned in the comments of your About page. I’m on MOMYS as well. 😉 Not a huge poster, but I get soo much encouragement there! I am expecting my 7th wee one. I look forward to reading more and enjoying all your awesome photos.

Too funny! I’ve got two on my front porch right now that I bet my chickens would love.
Oh I love this it is truly going to keep me smiling all day. Thank you. B

Great pictures! Found you on Farmgirl Friday:)
Great pics! I didn’t even carve my pumpkin for Halloween — I’m tempted to carve a hole in it now and just set it out for my chickens.
