Bighorn sheep rams making their way through by Many Glaciers…
Another busy week on the farm. We are getting ready for the first of the Icelandic lambs to be delivered which always means that we are busy.
Here are some pictures that I got of Reykur, one of Icelandic rams this week…
Garrett found a lucky horseshoe while helping me check fence…
And we found a rusty bucket..
The rooster crossed the….
The sheds and hoop houses are set up and we will make 10 jugs in here…
Which is a good thing because little Charlie decided to join us today…
Little Charlie is Tori’s lamb…
And we should have more soon…
Spring is growing…
Hens are hiding eggs…
Ducks are hanging out…
Cloudy days…
We had some little visitors to our sheep cobalt block this morning…
As far as I could tell, they were actually picking at the block. I am not sure if they were needing a bit more cobalt in their diet or if they were just needing the salt? Either way it was pretty neat. Right afterwards we had another visitor fly over…
You will also have to excuse the pile of ruble behind the birds, we have had some unruly and playful rams making their feeder into a ramp of sorts.
So the feeder finally must have given up last night because it is now a pile of wood and panels. It was on its last leg any way, but…who wants to build an extra feeder right now? lol
