Sisters at chore time..
Here are the three new sheep we picked up from Alan at The Creeks Edge Icelandics. We are excited to be adding these new genetics to our flock! The two ewes are already bred and will be lambing in April.
I am needing some good Norse names for these three….. 🙂
Meet Ciarra, she is one of the most friendly Icelandic ewes you’ll ever meet.
She decided she needed to go investigate the fuzzy, barking thing on the other side of the fence.
Gunnar, our Icelandic sheepdog decided to say hi too.

As if their beautiful colors and patterns weren’t enough, we love our sheep for their wonderful and unique personalities. They are constantly teaching us new ways to shepherd our farm. These are some of the other lovely aspects of Icelandic Sheep.
