We have been experiencing some unseasonably warm weather around here lately, right around  ~50 degrees! March definitely came in like a lamb, now if it would just go out like one. This weekend we had a whirlwind trip to Bozeman for State Shoot in which both Sawyer and Tori participated in air pistol and bow. When we got back Saturday night all the snow (ice)  had magically disappeared and most of the mud had dried up! (Wonderful news to a mommy of 7 suffering from cabin fever!) After church on Sunday, Mark decided to investigate his bee hive and see if we had any survivors. He suited all up and about an hour later returned happily to report that there were lots of bees and brought back a lovely gift…
It smells absolutely heavenly and tastes even better~so when we wake up to mornings like this…
We are able to be a bit more patient in waiting for Spring.

22 eggs today!
The chickens must be enjoying the warmer weather too.
Honeybees and Sunflowers….
With the cooler weather and the arrival of fall there are less and less flowers for the honeybees to gather from. The sunflowers have been blooming in full force making it a favorite gathering place for the bees.
