Montana At It’s Finest…

Last night we had pouring rain and 40 degrees, sometime in the night it changed to snow and wind.  This morning it was brisk -30 degrees Fahrenheit!  I don’t mind the cold or snow but sure get hard on critters when we have wet conditions and then gets really cold.  I was happy to see every one fared the night alright and were anxiously awaiting breakfast this morning…

Wondeful shots, shame it cannot be easy for all concerned.

  4. it does look very cold but the work of feeding animals must go on. Love the close up of the sheep covered with snow. Love .how you have edited the shots. Have a great weekend.

I love these outstanding photographs. There’s a couple that I wondered about the processing – including the first one. Just beautiful

  11. Thanks! The first one I decreased the overall saturation and vibrancy and then pushed up the blue luminance levels.

  12. Yes, it is definitely white outside now. Thankfully, no wind today.

    Great pics. Be warm.

  16. And I thought it was cold here this morning. We were almost tropical in comparison. You have some amazing shots here. I always feel for animals out in the cold like this but I guess God provided them with what they need to survive.
