Parakeet Problems…

Rain Cloud~our pet parakeet that resides in Garrett and Hayden’s room found freedom the other day when Zayne knocked his cage onto the ground. Now Rain Cloud is *not* a very friendly little parakeet and will peck at you when you go to feed or water him.  In times before when he spread his wings and escaped from his cage, it required  a pair of glove in order to catch him because he would peck so hard.   This time after he had been caught it was discovered that the cage had been broken so Rain was able to maintain his freedom for a while until the cage could be put back together.  A while later after I thought the parakeet had been nestled back into his cage, down came Garrett with a cheshire cat grin asking if anyone had seen his bird….

Teigen thought is was so funny that the bird was riding on Garrett’s head that he decided he wanted to give Rain a ride too…

That was  about too much for Teigen, Rain was walking around on his head and it sent Teigen into uncontrollable  giggles!

I guess Rain Cloud thought being out and about was sort of fun and has gotten over his bad habit of pecking people.  And I don’t jump nearly as much when something comes fluttering by my face!
