Reflecting, Weathering the Storms of Life…

This weekend we had lots going on and it always seems we run out of weekend before we have everything we were trying to get done, finished.  I guess that is just the way life is in all walks…but especially in an agrarian life.  There are always animals to feed and water, pens to clean, gardens that need to be planted, weeded, harvested, wood to cut, season and later burn, kids to nourish and teach up in the way they should go, relationships to tend, and on it goes… One thing we are always in need of is quiet time, even if just for a moment to reflect in His word throughout the day to give us strength and refresh us.  We are too blessed to live this lifestyle,  raise our children in this environment and reflect throughout the day about different scripture and how we can truly see it lived out.  We went through a dark and extremely hard experience a couple of years ago…we were not even sure if our marriage would survive it, but through it all God proved faithful to us.

Dark sky...

Psa 46:10 ESV - "Be still, and know that I am God."

We were not sure if we would ever find ourselves on the other side, but looking back we can see His gentle guidance leading us through this trial.  Being on the other side we are so thankful for this experience as it has brought us so much closer together and  we can rest in His grace and love.  Looking forward we know we can weather any problem if we are still and look for his leading…

Jhn 3:15 KJV - That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
