Down to the River…

On Saturday, Sawyer went down to the river to see what the fish were up to.  He returned about 10 minutes later in search of some dry flies because the fish were rising.  The trip to the river on the east side of the property takes a little going to get to.  The hill is long and very steep and filled with lots of brush and downed trees, but once safely down it’s really very pretty.  The Oregon Grape is in full bloom along with Lily of the Valley and some wild Violas.  For Mother’s Day Sawyer collected some Narcissus that was growing wild along the bank.  My camera battery was on the blink of being dead but I did get a couple of shots taken…
