Bozeman-State Shooting Sports Tournament

On Sunday morning Sawyer was able to participate in the State Shooting Sports Tournament.  He remained calm and felt he would have a score that would reflect a “personal best”-where better to get it than at state?  He only had one “flier” that whiz-banged to outer portion of the target, every other shot was nicely grouped toward the center.  Their coach felt that the Flathead senior team had a great chance of taking state.  Tori was able to sneak a couple of pictures…

The kids all had to be really quiet so they would not disturb the shooters, as you can tell they were really into the whole thing.

Sawyer is now anxiously awaiting his results, which could take up to 3 weeks to get back!

The trip back was uneventful, but a stressful drive as the state of Montana had been covered in snow making the roads very slick and snow packed.  The winds would howl off and on pushing the van around the road.  But we arrived home safe and sound, and to another 6 inches of snow…
