Shooting Sports-State

This weekend we were able to go to Bozeman for state shooting sports.  Now this is no small feat.  Packing and repacking and double checking to make sure we have everything for 9 people  is a real adventure!  Did everyone pack a swimsuit?  Did you pack diapers?  Do you have socks? x 9 times.  Get some one to take care of all your animals. Thanks dad and mom!  Then there is the cramming of all your stuff into the van and stuffing 6 wiggly little bodies into their seats.  Thank heaven for car seats!  Then the 300 mile drive and constant asking of where are we now?  How much longer until we are there?  Is this town Bozeman? And hearing…I have to go pee… just  AFTER you leave Clearwater junction and it is the last bathroom for MILES…  I’m hungry…Turn down the heat, it’s too hot…Turn up the heat it’s cold in here…  Whoops! (what just spilled?)…

Zayne was SO happy to be out of his car seat!

Then when your finally there!  YEAH!!  Zayne was so happy to be out of his car seat and crawled all over the place.  The other kids were able to get in alot of swimming and burned off all the energy that they had saved up.

Trying to find a hotel room  big enough to accommodate a large family is another joy.     We were almost resigned to 2 separate rooms as we could not find anything that would sleep all of us together.  I finally did find a Mariot that only had suites and they had one master suite left- 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room with a fold out couch and a full kitchen and 3 t.v.’s- all this for just slightly more than what 2 separate rooms would have cost.

They room was very nice and the eat in kitchen was very handy!  We were able to get pizza’s and cook them in our room and have ice cream for dessert.  In the morning the motel put out a  nice hot breakfast  and  we even remembered to spring ahead so Sawyer made to his competition in time!
