… WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST FRIDAY…

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS BETWEEN 3 TO 5 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED BY EARLY FRIDAY MORNING… WITH LOCAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 8 INCHES ALONG THE EASTERN SHORE OF FLATHEAD LAKE. IN ADDITION… GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH SHOULD DEVELOP THIS EVENING CAUSING AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AS WELL AS WIND CHILLS TO 10 BELOW ZERO. THE STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED ALONG HIGHWAY 2 BETWEEN HUNGRY HORSE AND KALISPELL.
